BLASPHEMY, Ok, so I am picking up an 89 golf 4d GL, looks like it should have 100hp under the hood and still get 25-35mpg? so I dont know if I will fit in here based on my car (but I am still going to build my 1.6 na idi) I will come up with something to use it for...

Don't have a diesel :( I have a project engine. Then found the car looking for parts/car to put my motor in after I finished it. But it runs and drives so well (and must not have tall enough gears either) that I'm not sure I will mess with it.
