WTB: Land Rover TDI injection pump
« on: March 27, 2012, 06:19:37 pm »
I'm looking for a decent Land Rover TDI injection pump. I'd be willing to pay for shipping across the pond if the pump is in good condition.
'85 Cabriolet 1.6TD: Bilstein Sports, lowering springs, custom strut tower and control arm braces, BBS basketweaves, Recaro seats.

sadly any you buy you have to "assume" it as a core... install and cross fingers... :D

post links to any you think of buying.. ill peek at pics to mke sure its proper design..

rember you will need a mk4 style pully and hub for it... the vw tdi valves to fit the lines properly.. and have to build a rearm mount and mod the linkage to fit vs cable set up..

but its all cake stuff..

Here is a picture of the pump I'm considering. The man says it's been rebuilt and calibrated by a shop in the UK.

The motor that this LR pump is going on is from an 01 Beetle. Would the pump on it already have the proper pulley/hub and valves?

yep the nb would have the proper delevery valves and pully/hub set up.. you will still need to make the rear mount/throttle linkage but it pretty much bolts right onto that engine..
