do you have the proper K14 manifold? the downpipe is JUNK for performance applications.. it necks down to a little bigger than 1" internal diameter..
Since thats the case, I have a good friend that can make a good downpine. What would be a good size 2.5"?
I would assume i have the correct k14 manifold. Did VW make two different manifolds for the K14.
They made at least two different exhaust manifolds for the k14 that I've seen. And at least 3 different kinds for the aaz engine.

The exhaust manifold on my ECOdiesel with a K-14 is indeed different although very similar to the one from my 85 with a K-24. I don't know how interchangable they are.
