I am worried that you are only seeing 18-20psi at the oil filter flange.. Is that even safe to run? What kind of pressure is the head seeing then?? <10psi?

Could it be a faulty oil filter? I did replace the filter with a brand new Mann one last saturday along with an oil change (5W40) and drove it for about 300km right after to cross the border and back. Then back and forth to work everyday until the issues started on friday with the oil light and noise. Now the noises can be heard thru all rpm ranges.. even at cold, hot start, idle. etc..

Hmm, I just watched the video.. It doesn't sound oil related. you can hear that clack-clack-clack and a slight tk-tk-tk-tk-tk that is the engine rpm it is uniform together.. But this whine, I think it is pump related.

You can hear it kind of still remain after the engine has dropped to idle? That is the way the pumps works it spins down after the engine hits idle, because of the flyweights inside of it. Physically the pulley is still spinning the same speed, but the weights and governor are still working to bring the idle to a solid, and not let it hunt around for an idle. Like a lope.

Could be the intermediate shaft bearings flaking off due to the overtightened timing belt. You need to check and see if you have the clutched alt pulley and if it has failed. You can hear a distinct deceleration whine that sounds to me like the alt pulley is overspeeding the engine rpm.

I think they screwed you on the alt pulley and gave you a non-clutched type or it has failed prematurely.

The thing is with the previous alternator pulley before the change there was a huge wobble with another one of the pulleys, now there's no wobble and it still makes the whining noise which seems to be coming from either the turbo or pump. The over tightening of the timing belt could be an issue since my gas mechanic suggested it after he listening to it with a stethescope looking device.

Here's an update for anyone who is interested.. I took the car to the mechanic today and after some tinkering he told me that the alternator was bad. He took the belt off and the shaft was somewhat loose so the bearings must have gone due to not having the clutched pulley.. I found an alternator for $60 about an hour away from where I live, the plan is to go grab that alternator and take it with my own to the technician and ask him to swap out the pulleys so save some money...

I was told that the oil light and noise were due to the alternator failing.. I suppose I'll update this when I change things out to let you folks know what the outcome was... maybe save someone else from going thru the same ordeal as my funky noise seemed pretty rare, even for the veteran trained ears of this forums ears.. I have to say I have a pretty unique car lol
