Find a manifold and turbo, and then use a mk3 pipe. they fit and are much better flow. Cheap too if you can find a wrecked car.

Unless you have pics of such a working setup I'm a little skeptical of that.  What is the mk3 DP diameter anyway?  Probably not 2.5.

pretty close if its not.. its FOR SURE 100% better than the mk1/2 downpipes..

one thing you gotta learn bro, there are people on here that only speak the truth..

Patrick is one of them, CRSMP5 is another.. theres loads more too.. anyways, we arent going to send you on a wild goose chase over parts that will never work..

although, you will have to get a mk3 downpipe from a K14 equipped car.. i believe thats the only downpipe that will fit the K24.. because the AAZ cars never had K24 or T3 turbos factory..

Okay, didn't mean anything by what I said; guess the 'Tex tainted me a bit.  My bad! ::)

My only questions are A) Is it 2.5" I.D. and B) Is it a toilet-bowl connection (know NOTHING about diesel MK3's; none come through the shop yet)?

If yes (or at least 2.25"), then I bought it 10 minutes ago!

And I know CRSMP5 talks in only truths;  I've met him in person, and survuived.  ;D

mk3 downpipe is stainless tubing from the turbo outlet, to the cat.. the whole downpipe is one piece, no cast iron downpipe connected to a toilet bowl headpipe..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

but still he putting it in a mk1.. so mk3 no fit anyways... LOL..

in the end it will be a custom piece made..

the elbow... thats a mk1/mk2 part... and reality is your going custom off the turbo... the elbow is a cast piece that bolted to turbo.. then down pipe to that..

Yeah, no worries; I'll see if the friendly local muffler shop is good for anything.
