weight of an 020 trans

anyone ever weighed one? trying to figure a shipping quote. I was thinking about 90 lbs.
Look, if corn and kudzu fall in love and have a baby in a lab under the supervision of scientists working in my employ, WHO AM I TO STOP THAT other than the CEO responsible for stopping it???

He was close.  I would think it depends if it is still attached to the engine or the car.  Weight may change depending on model of car.

Is an 02A tranny heavier.  Just wondering as I have one I might add a limited slip diff into and put in in my MK3 with a 1.6td.
99' 1.9 1Z Tdi, hybrid pump -1.9 housing & rover internals, 2052 wastegate turbo,.25 hflox nozzles, SDI intake, CTN tranny
96' 1.6 TD Golf, Giles pump, VNT 17, Gas changed to Diesel, Air to Water Int.

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

I've packed and shipped a few. With the fluids drained, brackets removed, and packed in an adequate box with styrofoam, it works out to just under 80 lbs every time.
