what is the spec on torquing down the nozzles (to which the hard lines attach to). After barely starting the vw caddy with the WOT I was able to see fuel gusshing out of the interface between the head and the nozzles. All of the washers/o-rings were replaced by the Bosch kit. I generally afraid of over torquing and may have not torqued enough.
Also how much oil can come out of the block where dip stick is pressed in? mine seem to spray oil like geyser (dip stick in installed but it does move) any suggestions?

Really there shouldn't be any oil coming out at the dipstick. You can buy the proper seals at the dealership for like $6. Its like a washer and something else. It's dumb.

Leaking problem was solved by tightening up the nozzles -- one of them was finger loose

You mean like block the breather? If you did that you'll have oil coming out of every seal on the engine.

I really hope you're joking. All that pressure in there (caused by gases leaking past your rings, it happens on every engine, even new ones) has to come out somewhere...
This is why some folks just vent it under the car. Or into a catch can of sorts. I was using a water catch but decided to go back to burning it for fuel instead. So yes I roll a little blue smoke under long sustained pulls but so what. It's a diesel. Now come summer with the sunroof open I may not like that swirling smoke around me in slow traffic so I may go back to catching it in a water bath type setup and skimming it off every month.
My used car had major blowby white smoke out the oil filler when I got it a year and a half ago. No mods, leaks, no cam block plate, etc.
I got the car anyway for $800 and the car has been pounded in the year in a half I have had it. No runaway yet. Never saw oil out the dipstick
Anyways I added the cam shield, resealed everything I could with new seals, now I don't drip on the ground.
I also took the block plate off and added one with a nipple. I have a g60 valve cover and the breather comes off the other side and I took that hose and into a pvc catch can thing I made with a couple stainless steel scrubbing balls inside. A middle lower port goes to the block off nipple, and the other side on the left goes to the typical spot to the intake.
It definately cut down on the oil mist right into the turbo and oil can freely drip back into the block, but there is no stopping the blowby I have up top. Doesn't throw the oil cap off but it sure flings oil, without that shield in place and slight revs it will fling it all over the engine bay.
I plan on breaking my car down in the next month or so, its burning a quart every week.
