Definitely a cool rig. When's it going diesel?
A friend of mine has a Syncro Doka that will be an mTDI before too long. :-)

Yes, it will have a late model ALH in it, but to do that and have it even a decent driving rig, the trans will need to be regeared along with SA oiling plates and a full rebuild.
Ha, I do have a lot of irons in the fire all at once. So I can only play with one at a time depending on the price of what parts the projects need or the time I have to devote to it.
For now, the Sinka is my daily driver.

Drive very very very slowly..

Kinda goes without saying with T3s.
Disregard that disappearing DOKA in the video, it was a facility test, not a test of the vehicle. It was weighted down with about 1.5 tons of ballast and doing around 60 when it hit the wall.

Actually, the T3 is excellent for safety for its passengers. Better than similar year Volvos which are renowned for safety. It has a very rigid front passenger compartment with appropriate crumple zones and cannibalizes the other vehicle in collisions. The visibility in a T3 and the ability to be seen by other motorists is unmatched. It doesn't have air bags, but I've always thought that the functioning of the air bags between people's ears was far more important.

Come and play with it August 15-16 at North West Mog Fest.
My buddy and I had some fun digging up some dirt at a construction site that was a dumping ground for excess back fill.
Man this thing is fun as S#!T

Oh my god dat Mog.
Only ever seen one, guess because Unimogs are a little thin on the ground in southern states if you're not looking for them. Love how they can be converted to do practically any job, military or civillian. The dirt mover backhoe attachment yours has is definitely one of the most versatile, and will have your friends calling about doing some ditch-digging every weekend.
