Giles Pump

I normally just lurk on this forum, its full of great info. But I now want to sell a Giles turbo pump that I bought over the holidays.
I have wanted a Giles pump for a while and when my old one started leaking, I jumped at the chance to replace it with a new pump from Giles. Long story short, 1/2 mile down the road after I installed it, the belt jumped and that was that. I have decided to sell the pump and move on.
I am mainly interested in finding out for now if there is any interest here before I go the ebay or craigslist route. I will be more than happy to supply all the details if anyone is interested, just testing the waters right now.
Paid more than $850, looking to get $650 and will include shipping. I will also need to get a core of a similar model. If anyone is interested, let me know. I can supply references of sorts and further details.
*update--although the core is a turbo pump, it is setup and metered for a NA engine. It can be re-tuned for a turbo, but will have to go back to Giles for the work at an additional cost. In all reality, if you are looking for a turbo tuned pump, you would be better off sending your own core to him for a rebuild.

The pump is for a turbo diesel but I was using it on a NA engine. Giles told me it would work just fine and I could upgrade to a turbo in the future. A win win
It has the LDA that is setup/plumbed for the turbo. With it arranged like this, I was able to bypass that whole vacuum thing mounted on the right fender well, attached to the fuel filter that is used on the NA.

So I guess Ishould update the info on this pump now that I understand a little more about it.
It is a turbo pump, but it was setup for a NA engine. It can be modified back into a full blown turbo pump, but will have to go back to Giles's shop for an additional cost.
it is built up and set to 1.6L non turbo spec's to start with. it was a full turbo pump core. He swapped the long delivery valve holders onto it that are used on a altitude compensator pump , make sure you understand that the normal 1.6L injection lines will not fit.
Giles also stated that Warranty is no problem for the new owner
as long as there was no damage due to improper handling or usage. as is always the case in any manufacturer's warranty.
Any more questions feel free to ask

Hi,
I am interested in the pump and have a few questions.
1. Does this pump have the idle speed boost idle adjustment?
2. Was this pump simply rebuilt by giles OR was this pump rebuilt and modified by giles for increased power?
3. Is there any documentation that will be provided that this is, in fact, a giles pump?
3. Why do you need a core? If you have removed this from your vehicle why would I need to send you a core? Sending you my current good running turbo pump effectively adds at least $250 to the purchase price you're asking for this pump.

Looks like he needs a core as he is looking to use the money for repairing the engine and making it driveable/saleable. Its not too much to ask.
Also it looks like he has spoken to Giles and he will still honor the warrantee, so I'm betting its legitimate.

Ultimate proof of a Giles pump would be to include the little card that giles sends with all his new pumps

I havent checked in a couple days, Sorry.
Yes, I Do have the little cards that Giles attaches to the pump when he ships them. If there is any doubt about the pump, I will be more than glad to refund the money for the pump.
This pump just hasent worked out for me the way I was hoping, and I am just trying to recoupe some of the money I have spent. This is not my first choice, but economically, the smartest.
