Yeah, my experience with him was that I had made a purchase *before I knew about him* and when it didn't work he did NOTHING about it. No return communication, no offer to make it right, no anything...best money I ever spent...as now I know not to deal with him and expect any more than that. I maybe taken by others, but I know I won't be had by him again, that is why I don't consider it a loss, but more of a 300-- learning experience. In the words of the montey python "Always look on the bright side of life" even when dealing with someone that makes you feel like what montey described in the "medical love song".
Ah yes that makes sense. Customer service is important. I just read a few of his older posts on here and felt he was honest enough.
Though the low prices really should constitute at least free replacement within a certain short period of time. It can't cost him too much.
This being said I wouldn't be buying a head, turbo, or injection pump from him. But for random stupid parts he's the man.

Seems like he is better about refunds and such, but he still sells crap parts. He claims he tests his pumps, but I've only heard of a handful that have ever even worked enough to get the car running.
Know someone who bought a pump from him. Didn't work so they returned it and got another. Still didn't work. Through all this process, there was a 6 month warranty or something. Apparently, the warranty started at the first pump so on the 3rd pump that didn't work and it was 6 months after the purchase of the first pump, he threw a fit about refunding. I think they got half the money back and lost their good core that they sent to him. Shady guy, and it makes me sad that he calls the state of NC home.
I know some of his parts are ok, but I refuse to give money to a guy who makes a living selling junk and ripping people off.
