I've decided to rebuild this to be dropped into a vehicle at a later date.
I scrapped my 97 Jetta AAZ 2 years ago after breaking the alternator mounting brackets, as it wasn't worth the effort given the condition of the chassis. I kept almost all mechanicals for a project, but that project never materialized... I've decided to have a little fun and build a BMW track car, so I need everything gone. Given my schedule, I'd prefer local sales for larger/heavier items such as engine, trans and dash (montreal area), can ship others at buyers expense.
Parts floating around:
- AAZ long block, w/injectors, but w/o timing belt and pump/alternator brackets (neither cam nor crank has been moved) HOLD
- Injection pump w/lines (ran awesome, but developed leak on lower seal) HOLD
- Intake manifold HOLD
- Exhaust manifold, K03 turbo (recently rebuilt using several cores), stock downpipe... HOLD
- 020 transmission, w/some new seals, 0.75:1 5th, no grinding when removed HOLD (local sale only)
- 020 Valeo clutch kit (small spline) w/resurfaced flywheel and bolt kit, <8000km $140 firm
- New oil pan and windage tray $50
- Complete non-airbag dash SOLD
- Complete wiring harness w/cluster SOLD
- OE battery 1 year old, used 2 months last winter in my 2.0 ABA... $50 (local sale)
- steering column, non-airbag, ign switch and keys $40
- steering wheel $10
- manual window regulators (4-dr) $20ea

First off, I apologize for any delays in getting back to anyone regarding items I've listed. I've got the week off, so I should be able to keep everyone updated... those who are first in line for certain items will be receiving detailed pictures within a few minutes.
