I know I'm kind of late to this but here's what I'm using for a "clear section of fuel line."



By far the best idea I have seen. I will be doing this exact method for sure :). Clear lines are a PITA

what is it and where did you get it? is it a mini filter?

yep, little mini filter inside a glass cylinder with o rings on either end and caps with hose bibs on it.  Check any automotive store or parts counter.  They are like everywhere.  I own one that must be 20 years old now.  I know that because I had it on my 1980 Ford F150.  Watch out all you youngens, when your kids go to driving they think they are magicians, turned that truck into a telephone pole.  Totaled it.
