FS. numerous 1.9 DI and TDI engines in Southern Ontario
« on: January 17, 2012, 08:31:01 am »
I am working on cleaning up the shop, we have engines & transmissions,, lots of brackets & mounts, cars in the yard to be picked at before I crush them.  We have stuff early 1990 to 2007 mostly diesel.  Lots of stuff so let me know what you are looking for.  We have hauled 3 trailer loads for scrap and it would be a shame to shred a 1.9l IDI if someone could use it.

post your needs, I will post pics if required to confirm your part of interest

Bam,
I'm in Southern California, could u possibly ship a complete engine here?  Some
folks use something called forwardair?  for shipping engines.  I'm really looking for
a 1.9 idi.
Thanks, Peter

Unfortunately, Forward Air does not cross the border into Canada.

If you can strap it securely to a pallat, i have used R&L carriers to ship transmissions around the us and some other large freight. Never tried canada personally but supposedly they are global!

Forgive me my friend but I would prefer not to ship a complete engine to the US of A as I have run into numerous issues when crossing the border using freight companies.

Thanks for looking

I looked through the collection and I do have two(2) complete units out of vehicles however I believe them to be good cores for rebuild not drop in units.

If these interest you, PM me and we can set a time to meet at the shop in Barrie

I am down to 1 complete AHU engine still in the car and can be heard running.  I also still have about half dozen 1.9l (AAZ/ALH) engines for parts or rebuild whatever your flavor may be.

I will be loading these into the next scrap run in a couple weeks if they have not left for a new home.

Let me know what you need.

would you be willing to bring the AHU *if you still have it* to Detriot, MI? If not what about selling me the electrics, IP, injection lines, and wiring harness, and shipping them to me?

Do you have any AAZ cylinder heads?  Would prefer any w/ dual springs please, but any rebuildable head core w/ all it's cam caps will do!  Can you ship that to the US w/out incurring a lot of trouble like a complete engine would?

PM sent 4 redundancy.
