Headlight switch for late mk2
« on: January 10, 2012, 02:20:03 pm »
any of you guys know where i can get a headlight switch on the cheap? i have come to the conclusion that the one in my jetta is the culprit behind my lighting issues.. the switch in my car is the one with 10 or 11 pins, not the old style 8 pin switch.

there about 40-50 bucks everywhere online, but if someone local had one, that would be AMAZING..

let me know please! my switch kinda works for now, but i doubt it will work for long.

(the extra vibrations from the diesel engine sure are exposing all my electrical gremlins!)

86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

thats for after you get rid of the gremlins.. they KEEP the gremlins AWAY..

dunno if it works like that for existing tenants..

Should have 1 or 3 probably.
Will check some pin counts in a day or so.
89 with CE2 probably same unit / pin count ?

Would take a 13" rabbit baby moon hubcap in trade
maybe 2 caps if you have a stack - lol

Okay good.

I have a couple/few bags of Mk2 dash items Ce1 and Ce2.
Will check through and find non-8 pinners.

Then can test any prospects in my 89.

CE1 light switch has a "US" looking head light image on it. The CE2 light switch has a "Euro" looking bulb image on it.
I have a hand full of each. Hit me up if you need on if your still looking.
