Merry Christmas indeed. Here in Florida we celebrated out at the fam's lakehouse, where we partyed outside, and I even went fishing and caught three beautiful freshwater cats that are currently on ICE, awaiting their filleting.

I had my heater core explode/fail christmas eve on the way home.. filled my car with coolant and fogged the windows as i was flying on the highway. AHHH.

Luckily some pliers and zipties got me fixed up and on my way ;) 100+kms with no heat and the windows down!!?? Damn -10 feels colder at 110km/h lol.

ROFL your car said Bah Humbug, replace my heater core. I have to do that in mine as well, although the urgency of it down here in Florida is not so much. I have a good core I pulled out of a junkyard, just havent got the courage to go rippin out the dash and all that. Although I think I saw a write up somewhere that didnt require the dash to be pulled.

I think its even easier on the MK1.. especially since i dont have any carpet, or bottom dash pieces in ;) i was dealing with another leak.. so at least the coolant did wreck my carpets.
