Ok so when you mention about boost going the opposite side of the diaphragm, does it use have just a single connection where pressure is applied to?

The newerd K03 Actuator seems to have 2 connections, one each side of the diaphragm, whats that all about?

I think it was saurkrat who said you can turn the screw in until it is flush with the nut and you get 25psi. I don't believe the wastegate is opening all the way at that point, but you can turn up the boost with it. I don't know of anyone actually trying to decrease boost so I wouldn't know on the other way.

The set screw adjusts how far the valve can open. On the k24 only one side of the diaphragm has a line to it for boost on the t3 most of them have two lines one is boost the other is filtered atmospheric air I would assume the k03 is the same how ever I think some had vacuum to the non boost side so it could open the wg for emissions bs or something

Is it possible to actually take the wastegate unit to pieces? I was wondering if it would be possible to modify it to use a normal wastegate and mechanism for greater adjustment?

U can take the k24 wg off I dunno if it comes apart any further tho. If u could put a different spring in you could lower boost that way

Well what I want is to be able to adjust the boost down because its for Gasser application. Now my second part is the fact I want to be able to mechanically open the waste gate to stop the turbo spinning up, so that when I am sat on the motorway I am not in boost drinking away all my fuel! With the K03 type boost cans because of the external rod that controls the gate, this would be easy to achieve, but the K03 is going on my diesel and the K24 is going on my gasser lump.

Basically I'm trying to work this out.
