Here is a vw show from 1993... My car is kind of hidden by the porsche.. I was not planning to be part of the show but there she is... Bugs on the grill and everything...

Maybe you guys and gals will appreciate it more than the tex.. I'm really starting to hate it over there...

Looks like a neat ride...why did you get rid of it?.....And I hear you about the 'Tex'.  It seems like a little too much 'attitude' for my liking, which is a shame since there is a lot of knowledgable old skool dubbers posting there. Fortunatly , I haven't seen that bad attitude crap surface here. Hope it continues.....
No I am NOT in denial!!!!!

Red Rabbit; why did you get rid of it?

Just like all things have to come to an end.. I had the car for 7 years spent about 7 g's on it and then lost interest.. The sad part is I sold it for 1,500.00..

It was great and there is one this year in dieppe, N.B. right by Moncton on June 10th... This will be my first time back to one of these Maritime vw shows since then back in 1993...

I don't have any pics from that show. I didn't take my camera what I was looking for was when the moncton show was this year and stumbled across these from the first show they held.. I can't answer your question about the notch back but it could be... I have missed going to these shows and there is not much for classic vw's around the maritimes that I know of.. if I see it this year I will let you know...

As for the tex I posted this same thing on there and all I got was a guy talking about air cooled guys saying "[Quote Aircooled owner]- "These guys with there MK2's are idiots and all they talk about is 16v this and 16v that. And those 16" and 17" Oz's and Koenigs. Psssshhhh.....arogant a-holes  ."  [Aircooled owner]"  Yeah really friendly...

Yeah but I wasn't saying anything about air cooled this or that I was just sharing pics that I found from 1993 including my '80 cabby... He really didn't have to say that... Or am I wrong???

that's MVOC!!!

Wow, kinda cool to see the old pictures from '93, it sure has changed.

For anyone looking to attend this year, the thread is on www.customobsessions.com

Definitely the biggest, and best all VW show on the east coast!
