A/c delete, rad. Fan runs high speed

So far I've posted about oil pressure on my new engine
Got the engine running a few weeks back, only run a few times trying to work out the bugs
I temporarily deleted the a/c compressor so I can just get it running
Later I ad a compressor
I got a deeper alternator pulley from Vw toywagen.com (16v ac delete pulley)
But
I've got wires and plugs not connected - a couple that plug into sensors on rigid lines or the compressor
The engine mounted sensors are installed and plugged in
Radiator is new, 3 pin radiator fan switch new, all temp sensors new
I've run the car a couple times enough to start the fan (but lower rad hose was still cold)
The fan kicks on at high speed (like ac is on)
The heater control is NOT in ac position (when I tested the electrical system before running engine I had it on and fan came on automatically in low speed)
Again- all wiring, engine mounted sensors, ect is connected, EXCEPT the compressor, the lines/hoses
Later this winter I will add ac
Can I get this fan under control for now?

Did you get this fixed?  There is another sensor that will kick the fan on high on my car, not out at the radiator.

Not fixed yet
I have every expectation that something I haven't hooked up yet is causing it to think the A/C is "on"
I've got several plugs not plugged in yet
The thermostat doesn't seem to have opened either
The gauge goes to about the half point which is about normal operating temp
The fan kicks on either at the right temp or even a few degrees cooler
I don't have time till next week, but
I'll study the electrical diagrams in Bentley
Any ideas are welcome

what waterpump crank pullies are you using for ur ac delete setup with the alt pulley ?
