Serp alt

I have the big serp alt that I need to put on the car someday. It has the D+ and W terminals in a small plastic piece. It looks like it has a connector that is supposed to be on the car to plug in nice and neat. I have an 86 and no such connector. Does anyone know of a parts store that sells this or what it is even called to start looking for?
EDIT: it also has the B+ but that is a big stud that just needs a ring terminal and nut, I am good there.

its probably just some weather tight connector..
start looking under the hoods of imports till you find the right plug, and then snip it off.

That is for a bosch fuel injector and looks like it will fit. I would agree with you Kevin, but finding an import JY within an hour of me is not easy. All american boys around here, myself included, other than my VW addiction I got all amercian stuff. So JY isn't an option. I was hoping for a part # and then I could see if an old taurus or something had it.

Is it a VW alternator? I'd be willing to look around locally for you Lucas. Lotta VW love in my area.

In my relentless search I found this site:
http://www.rangerovers.net/rrupgrades/electrical/boschalternator.htmlIt says that the thing I was looking at will work about 3/4 way down. "This is a W and D+ plug, its a standard Bosch engine sensor/ fuel injector plug.
A simple plug to find at any auto parts store."
So basically if I find one fitting this discription: Fuel Injector Pigtail - Bosch EV1 Ford GM BMW Applications
I should be in there like swim wear. I can find tons of Ford stuff at the local JY, but for this I might see if it is a 5.00 and under part at napa.

me be the prick.. not that simple..
unlike a injector that can be plugged in in either direction.. it has plastic casting on the part you have.. to prevent mixing it up..
i think it has 2 at that.. not a single down the middle.. so you need to look at it.. i kept that harness for the tdi swap stuff i had due to not being a simple misc plug.. but due to how its stored in the corner its in i cannot even see it... shoot me over a pic of the plug on the alt.. or post it up.. im thinking its the same as the 02a back up light switch.. may be wrong.. but i have pieces of a ce2 harness left.. so may have a plug that will work..
and no non vw/audi would use that style plug.. gm/ford/dodge/toyota/honda/nissan do not use those bosh plugs.. they have their own crappy plastic ones..
if all else fails.. the small speaker terminals will work..

Just did more looking, a Bosch EV1 low profile should work if the regular one doesn't. I am in pretty good with the parts store guy, so I will just bring in the alt and see what fits.
This is ripped off pic don't mind the red arrows, but the plastic injection molded piece at the top is exactly like mine. The piece with the w term and the D+ in it.

BTW I went to napa...before the car killed itself...I took the alt and asked for a pigtail for it. They had nothing. I asked for an injector for a 90 1.8 vw gas, they stocked it and brought it out and fit like a glove.
Yes Carrizog, you need to swap the alt braket to one from an aaz or similar engine that came with the alt originally. Also, a clutched alt pulley and TDI crank sproket are encouraged too.
So the bosch EV1 style injector plug fits the Bosch serp alt.

I haven't seen one of those. I was assuming all aaz had the serp setup.
