I have a 91 jetta diesel NA that I purchased about a year ago, due to a brake issue it was parked, I replaced the brake master cylinder with the GTI 22mm version, I upgraded the front rotors to vented rotors, I rebuilt the front calipers, I replaced the proportioning valve on the rear axle and when it got too cold I was unable to get a good bleed on the brakes, so they are still a little soft.
When I purchased the car, I also rebuilt the shifter linkage, added a weighted shifter rod, purchased new leather boots for the shifter and e-brake.
The previous owner purchased the car as a true eco-diesel, but he pulled the motor and sold it, he replaced it with a 91 NA diesel engine, he said he had rebuilt the engine 20k miles ago, and had rebuilt the IP with Viton seals before I purchased it, the car also has brand new tires. The car ran great with no issue, aside from the brakes.
When I purchased the car, there was clearly a moisture problem that had pulled a lot of fabric off of the headliner and doors. Currently the car has had the interior pulled out, and stripped of the old material. I have the headliner board recovered, but not yet installed.
To recap, the car currently has no interior installed, all pieces are included, but will need to be reassembled and reinstalled. I have installed a taurus cup holder where the radio was, and had planned on installing a radio in the section of the console above the shifter, this is not yet complete.
The car is black with grey interior, it has a sunroof, AC, and manual everything else. I have $3k in the car, and I am hoping to get $2k, but I really just want the car out of my carport, I am trying to clear some of the clutter from my life, and with my current house project, it will easily be another year before I can get to this car.

[email protected]The car is located in Raleigh NC, it is in very good shape for what it is, there are a couple of dents and scratches here and there, and the rear panel below where the trunk lid closes has some damage, but aside from that, there is very little rust or damage to this vehicle, I believe it has been in NC for most of its life.
