I think steelies and Snowflakes are both cool. I've been trying to find a great set of Snowflakes for my truck, but I'm going to polish them. 8)

stock steelies are horrid. and snow flakes are ALMOST as hideous.. this is just my opinion tho..

i LOVE Stu's steelies.. they look wonderful.

again, this is just my opinion..

Awww but they look so good clean!

I thought R.O.R. had a set at one time.  I tried to get them my way but we didn't connect on it.  I was wondering if the local hardware would have a decent cap that would go in that hole.  They have a huge selection of silver and black plastic caps.  I noticed in the pic of my car the rear axle cap it silver and it looked pretty good.  So I might try and see what I come up with.

idk what there for now that i look at them more.. there octagonal.. and stick out about an inch.. there quite a bit different than the center caps in randys wheels.. and i have 5 of them..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

V8 is correct on size and weight,  Shed the 13 inch for a set of 185 60R 14's  not much change on speedo.  2% is the difference I think.  I use GPS for my speed any way so tire size only changes odometer reading for the winter.  2 miles per 100 is not that much of a change.

Good to know. I still have my 13's in storage, but put 5 star 14's with 195/60's on my 89. Might put the 13's back on if I drive to LA, but I'll see.  Bringing my GPS as well to see how much more mileage I get with the "Gilesfied" IP.

Stay safe, stay well. Jimmy.

Man that thing needs some wheels. That junkyard I posted in the "for sale" section has tons of oem wheels that you could swap on.

Excellent choice. Ya know, I have some 12 hole steelies with caps and trim rings. All in boxes ready to ship. They came with the car at purchase. Those would make for some nice winter wheels.
