Sounds good to me!!  I just wish we had some way of hosting images that actually stuck.  I get so sick of going to page after page and seeing "This Image Has Been Moved Or Deleted" for every picture, which tends to happen with those kinds of threads.

Thanks man, but she's not a trailer queen, she's a daily driver. One show and one first place. That was enough for me. 8)

This is my other toy, I welded this truck together from a 1984 Rabbit (front half) 1981 truck (back half). The 84 Rabbit was smashed in from a wreck and the front strut towers were rusted out on the truck. So I cut them in half and welded together. This was a big job and I will never do it again. I could start a new post if you would like to see pic. of the process. I also put a turbo on the 1.6 n/a engine.

Mine for now,  Still need to do the interior some but outside is done.  And see I did find those rims you told me needed to go.

not just the VW diesels either, basically any vehicle that you love.

Can I take 6 pages for this??? I guess I'll keep it to the ones I still have..  Gone but not forgotten are the '72 Buick Electra coupe, and the '75 Gran Torino sedan..  Those are the 2 cars that I truly miss almost on a daily basis.. I'm sure most of you have seen my thread about the diesel Cutlass.. I'm not in love with it, it was just something I've always wanted..

This was my first car, a hand-me-down from my sister.. I had to mothball it on '04 when the windshield cracked and the doors ceased to close properly..  The A-posts were broken loose from the roof.. :'(

1978 Mustang II born with a 2.8v6 and a C4 auto..  The combo that broke things was a K-code 289 with some serious porting, and extra lumpy bump stick, A9L port injection with 24lb/hr injectors, truck lower intake, custom upper, stainless 2.5" duals with x-pipe and knock off flowmasters.. Coupled that to a well built 4 speed (AOD) automatic and an 8.8 diff with 3.73's and a powertraxx locker..  Could stand her on her nose with 11" Granada discs up front and 10" Explorer binders in the rear..  Straightened the turns with adjustable KYB's on all corners, neoprene bushings and good springs everywhere, 1.5" front sway bar, 1" rear sway bar, 205/50/15's all the way around.. A/C, PS, PB, PW, PL, RKE, and remote start.. The 7 grand tach just made the cut, the 120 speedo was a tad inadequate.. If only I had installed those subframe connectors sooner.. I can't tell you the quarter mile time as I never drag raced it (legally).. I do know that around 150 it became very aerodynamically unstable.. With a light foot it could see 25mpg highway on RUG..

I purchased another shell a few years back that I haven been slowly getting prepped (with extra reinforcement).. To take up for the weight gain from the reinforcement I have fiberglass bumpers, fenders, and a hatch.

No can do R.O.R.  Now that the rain has moved in the sucker is stuck like glue.  Just kidding,  I know you hate this idea but it is doing it's job.  I have tested the wind coming over the top of this arrangement and can say that it does throw the heavy stream of air I used to get in the middle of the windshield to the top.  My washers finally work without going all vapor on me now.

I looked at the lines where it might rub but see no effect of wear as of yet.  I will pop it off when washing the car just to be sure and keep the fine dirt out as well.

And the wheels?  You were the one that said I needed to dump the black rims and get serious wheels on it.  I thought the bigger tires and wheels look better than the 13 inch stockers.
