Need to turn down the smoke

As stated it would be best to talk to Giles before adjusting anything. He seemed more than happy to answer questions any time I called.
I don't know how "built" your pump is but my friends 1.6 with a Giles pump does that puff of grey smoke too. But....he did ask for fueling to 30psi and 5,500 rpm or as close as possible.
