I am prepping my engine bay for a veg oil conversion, and there was some contraption bolted to the fuel filter bracket. Had 2 wires coming out of it, and a couple of aneriods maybe. It wasn't hooked to anything else, and the piece where the wires connected didn't seem to be attached to the main part of it.
What is it, and what does it do??
Thanks,
Rod

altitude compensation pieces?
What would it hook to? There is a nipple that did not have a hose on it, but it appears not to connect to the aneroid with wires. Was there supposed to be a hose to the IP? I cant find anything on the online fiche.
Thanks!

I have, but the vision disappeared when I rebuilt an old Mk1 IP and swapped it in and removed that mess.
Yes, there is a hose that goes across from the sensor to the IP. I will have a look at the old IP and see if I remember... Perhaps you really don't need a functioning altitude compensator in Eastern WA? I certainly didn't in FL, where the highest point is 200ft....
