I have the 205's and love them just as much as i did last time you asked about them ;D! You can find some reviews as Smog nozzles on tdiforums i think that is the owners user name iirc.

Sorry I didn't mean to repeat the question. I have several TDIs that need nozzles, don't want chinese though. Bought a set of Bosio 520 but have not installed yet. Suppliers say "You must have them calibrated".

Ah no apologies i was just giving you a hard time! I am very cautious when it comes to chinese parts and usually expirament on a non daily when i have the chance and i have to say i was impressed with veg even if they may be chinese, enough that i later moved them to the daily driver. The whole world economy thing is making it difficult to find even name brand parts that aren't chinese anymore! Some say its the supervision and testing of the companies that make the difference who knows. I too have many needing nozzles but i think i will give the veg another set of business, i have set of bosios new in the box but they can stay there awhile longer saving them for the next one i guess.

I had the .216 veg nozzles in my toyota that I have since sold.  They are still running strong after 30,000 km.  I had also tried a set of .205 nozzles from prothe and the veg ones are definitely way better.  They are almost comparable to bosios sprint nozzles, almost.  I also have plans of buying another set.

The VEG noozles are not made in china.
They are sourced to a small shop with an EDM machine.
The .216 holes are actually .238 .
I bought a set myself, Not installed yet..
will let you know though.,

Can you point me in the direction where you found they weren't made in china? I am curious now as well. Last time i researched before i bought my first set all smog(tdi forums) would say was that they were manufactured to strict tolerances blah blah blah and that it didn't matter their country of origin. Which, when the question was are they made in china leads you to believe that yes they could very well be chinese but good chinese.Don't get me wrong they have great reviews and always test well from experience and what i have read and i would much rather support the great white north!I personally love them as i have said. I kinda figured though it was like the meyle stuff even though it is all stamped meyle germany, it could be manufactured anywhere! veg canada didn't necessarily mean manufactured in canada.

if they have good reviews, then worrying that its from china is borderline racist, unless you are buying american to 'keep the economy going,' not trying to start anything, just saying, if quality is not the issue, what is?

Personally, yes i do have an issue with china! Its not a racist view, has nothing to do with race.I don't feel that an even playing field with the communist monetary and business sytem of china is fair to Americans Canadians and Europeans, heck even Mexicans. We all have democracies and some version of fair trade practices china does not, they do not allow us even access to their markets and manipulate their dollar values. The government subsidies they use at times are focused purely to bankrupt competition. They sale ***ty products and put quality vendors/manufacturers out of business with unfair trade practices and the lack of disclosure allows the uninformed buying public to keep doing it! Now back to the original question i posed, where is the info that says they are canadian not chinese? It may not matter to most but at the same time i feel people should be informed when they make a buying decision!

I emailed and asked where they were made,
I got an e mail back saying they were made in a small machine shop with an EDM machine in Montreal.

Just received my second set of .216 veg nozzles for my next project and one of his 11mm heads.  I had bought an 11mm head from prothe  awhile back and they are totally different as well.  Not Bosch quality but better quality  than prothe.  Great value for the price.
