Fuel screw leaking?!?!
« on: October 02, 2011, 03:18:45 pm »
Hello, I have a 92 Eco and was doing some pre-winter maintenance on the car today and decided to turn the fuel up a bit more with the colder weather. As soon as I started her up, I noticed a small leak from the bottom of the fuel screw.

My question is, can I back out the main fuel screw and replace what I presume is an O-ring in there?

definitely, just count the amount of turns it takes to pull it out, then put it back in that many turns..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
