What happened to prothe?
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:54:51 pm »
I know, I know. He's not well regarded. Parts are cheap and the quality reflects that.

I'm looking at just getting a 1.6 running, and right now - it just needs to run to/from work. Looking at the cheapest possible, and now (it seems) the site is down.

My *other* build uses all proper german parts, when making enough power to hurt things, I choose only the finest. Right now I'm just missing the 40+ MPG I used to get.

Anyone?

Not doing him much good if I couldn't find his site.

Funny thing, I was actually looking for his website today... hoping to find an exhaust manifold with a trapezoidal flange and an egr plate. No luck though... looks like I'll have to pull out the torch set and braze something onto my manifold!

enough boost is when you have 3 dimple marks in the hood from the valve cover nuts..  ;D

Wonder if anyone runs his AAZ head.

There are members in this forum running them, with success as well. Hopefully they'll chime in with their experiences.
