Just bought this game and an xbox last night 

Only played it for an hour or so last night, but it's awesome!

Nope.. no live. Not sure if I'm going to get it any time soon either.

I've been playing through the career, it's pretty sweet. I've got most driver aids off, except for ABS. I have trouble controlling the brakes well with the trigger. I tried driving the Zonda on the Top Gear test track tonight... absolutely nuts! It would be incredible to drive a car like that....

Take the Kia CEE'D on the top gear test track, it's an achievement, so isakong the deleorean hit 88mph

you need live.. the game is fun.. but getting a group of say diesel nuts together with audi suv tdi's for a race... thats where its at... also in live mode the cars react different.. BUT i agree.. xbox can suck my... on their bs of 60/year... ill never pay them that again.. ever.. ill sell my box for a dolla first..

but i has connections now... i can live with 25/year... was willing to pay them 35/year.. till they refused my $.. and milked that crap out for 3 months.. then tried to hit me up for a full 60... f them... no guilt at all using the system..

talk to some of your local friends.. who have x box... may be one has family membership... 100$ for 4 people..  to get in on a 25ish per year plan... not what im on.. but close...

Check Amazon too. They are always havin deals on Live subscriptions. I snagged the TDI Audi ute as well. There is much to do online in that game that you would really be selling yourself short.
