Control arm mounting bolts, where to find?
« on: September 09, 2011, 10:49:48 pm »
For some reason my two rear ones (front suspension) are pitted pretty bad so I thought I'd throw new ones at it.

The part # is N 100 874 03 but I can't find anything online about it other than more people looking for the same thing ::).

Thanks

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Isn't the rear part of the table on a Rabbit held by a clamp?
or are you asking about a different model?

yes.. the rear is held by a clamp, and it connects to studs on the unibody..

the FRONT of the control arm takes a special bolt tho..

86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

oops, sorry guys, I'm talking about my '92 golf :-\.

These are the bolts that hold the rear of the control arm and the subframe to the body.

It's 12mm x 1.5 pitch and 74 mm long [however that may include the 2mm  pointy unthreaded end]. If you can find them at a metric fastener supply, just make sure it's 10.9 or 12.5 grade

Yeah I figured that would be my option, thanks.
