Recommendations on rebuild manuals for Bosch VE and 02A/C tranny
« on: September 08, 2011, 01:46:15 pm »
Hi!

I am looking for information on suitable (detailed) rebuild/factory manuals for both Bosch VE injection pumps and the 02A tranny.  I am building a m-tdi syncro Passat wagon and despite leaving the AAZ pump and 1Z/AHU pump alone in a quiet room all night, they have yet to mate into an m-tdi pump!  (I faired no better with a 02C syncro tranny and a tdi 02A!).

I have found many of the step-by-step walk-throughs as well as the Bosch VE theory pdf but much prefer working from a quality repair manual or the factory manual.

If you can, be specific in the manual (not just "get the Bentley") as I don't want to waste money on getting the wrong ones.  If you have one to sell or know where I can d/l one, PM me please!   I've been through the Russian site as well as vag-com which have been helpfull, but not complete.....

Thanks  ;D ,

Ian

It's Russian.  I bookmarked the page for future info, but not what I am looking for.

I have found a "factory repair" on ebay for the 02A but am trying to confirm it is what i am looking for.

I think I now have the 02A shop manual, or something close enough...   Would still like something for the Bosch VE.  I have the step-by-step with pics found http://www.vwdieselparts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6694 , but yearn for the real thing....

That link is a great resource for the VE pump!! Let us know how you make out rebuilding your pump. I have a few VE's from various diesels to play with.
