wtb: 79 1.5l diesel motor parts

I have been rebuilding the rabbit for a few years now. would really like to get it on the road soon. have the motor pulled. Was pulling the old oil seals out and got the intermediate pulley off to replace its seal. And when i was pulling it off and the pulley broke of with the vacuum shaft in it. So i would like it if i could get a new pulley and vacuum shaft as i have done alot to this 1.5l diesel. But willing to buy another motor for parts if on the cheep. Also kinda have been thinking of putting a larger motor in it,like a 1.6l tdi with a 5speed. if you got one for sale i would consider it at this point. Really need to get this car on the road and sold.  located in Acton,ME

would it be ok to call you tomorrow on in the morning. Really need to get this car on the road so i can sell it.. i  love this car mabe i can connivence my wife when its running that i we should keep it. i had it shipped from southern cali. and i painted the whole car now and put a crack free dash in it all new suspension brakes lines tires steering rack all gaskets new chrome trim.. engine bay is all been sand blasted and properly painted. would love a larger motor with a 5spd. before i call you tomorrow how much are we talking on the motor and transmission combo, and i dont need to mod the engine mounts.. got the bay all nice and clean would hate do go back words now

I have one for 800 and one for 900 and can show you everything you have to do to install it in the car. I have one in my rabbit truck you can look at that if you want.

I have a lot of 1.6 and a good amount of 1.5 parts, one of which is a running 1.5/1.6 hybrid that i might be willing to part with but its in my car now and i intend to switch to a 12mm 1.6 setup soon, but anyways, i'm located in the west part of Virginia and it there's no difference between the 1.6 and 1.5 intermediate shaft and pulley i'm sure i could rummage up just one of those for you. My number is 540.280.1957. Not trying to cut a sale out from under you Scott but he hasn't given his location yet.

if you just want to fix your engine, ANY VW diesel intermediate shaft pulley will work. some have a lip around the edge, some do not.. it makes no difference.

and im sure you could probably find a used one for 20 bucks or less.. i have one around my place somewhere, i know that..
