anyone have any interest in an 84 rabbit? its a whole car, minus engine.. im keeping that for my Jetta. im looking at getting a few hundred bucks for it..
84 is kinda a 1 off year.. there are quite a few parts specific to the 84 rabbits. like the inner fenders, and the bumper brackets.
yes, im also keeping the 4A 4 speed original to the car..
no enkeis. no window sticker. no engine. you can have the trans in it tho.. its a wonderful, highly sought after GC trans!! (i hope all of you caught the sarcasm there)
new windshield, GOOD 84 WING WINDOWS!!!!!!!
100mph diesel speedo alsobasically just an AWESOME, RUST FREE car.. its got a full interior, only thing missing will be the engine..
im open to offers. im not going to JUST GIVE IT AWAY, but im not looking to rip anyone off either..
im gonna say it again..
GOOD STYLE WING WINDOWS!!!again, this is a whole car, minus the engine.. drop in an engine and you have a running, driving car..

Where is the love for this poor baby. Like I said the other night I now know how you guys collect VW's. If I wasn't running up and down the state every week I might just try and drop a good engine and trans in this bad boy.
I you decide to start parting it out I call dibs on the front grill, wing windows and the speedometer. If it has the tach I'd need the alternator as well. It just looks to good to start the cannibalization.
How's them seats and carpet?

im NOT parting it out.. period. the car is too nice. if i part it out, im going to keep all the desirable parts..
if someone wants parts, they have to buy the whole car, and not tell me that they parted it out.
i do still love the car, but it needs more love than i am able to offer..
besides, im WAY partial to mk2 cars..

i cant believe nobody on the west coast wants it.. its literally, one of the nicest un-restored cars ive ever seen..
only reason im selling it, is because it would kill me to let that car sit and rust away.. someone needs to make something of this car..
and im not the person to do it..

i know!
blows me away at how little interest ive had with this car.. i tried selling the whole car, turbocharged and intercooled, turn key car, with the enkeis on it for 2500 bucks before and got no serious attention on the car.. plenty of kids wanting to trade me mini vans, exploders, and civics tho..
maybe this color combo just isnt eye catching enough?
IDK!
this is literally the cleanest car ive ever laid hands on tho.. it has no rust (besides on the passenger fender where the arch is damaged, on the bottom, rear of fender, maybe 3" of the arch is damaged..
under the car, spotless.. still has the shifter boot that came factory under the car..
its a really good car, and i wish i could keep it, but i cant, because i have other projects more important than that car, and i know, inadvertently, i would just let it rott away, and that would kill me..

OK, I am asking my wife IF I can have a second. I will let you know kev. If all it needs is an engine and trans to make it go then I may have time for that now that my daily driver is nearing the paint stage.
