Cylinder 3, needle lift sensor
« on: January 28, 2006, 04:44:27 pm »
Guys,

I've got a little project and before I go any further, I need to know what function the needle lift sensor on cylinder 3 has and what effect it has on the ECU. What information does it receive and in what way.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Regards, DM

The ECU need the 3rd NLS injector as a ref. mark for the timing.. The ECU can also use it as a ref for the RPM in case of crank sensor malfunction..
