5ths die from oil starvation because of improper fill levels. Did you have leaky trans?

Thats exactly what i was thinking, oil starvation. When i got the car i drove it home, very loud banging in 5th gear. when i got home i checked all the fluids and found the trans was almost dry with gear oil. btw i bought this car along time ago for $275 for people who dont know. The previous owner didnt keep up just a beater to them.

Well i filled it back up with gear oil and keeps on banging!  ::)  finally to present day i was bored around the house and decided to take it apart and thats what i found lol Glad i got a pristine FF now!
