WTF? no baffles in those things?!
WTF? no baffles in those things?!
Negative ghost rider...They aren't any taller than the steel either. I would love to have another as IMHO the only valve cover that I haven't had leak is this cast aluminum. Yes I even ran the one piece rubber on the steel valve covers and after 4,000 miles they usually leaked. 25,000 plus on the G60 and not one valve cover leak.....so for those wanting no valve cover leaks 60.00 isn't much for this piece, Good Luck Seller
Do you run some kind of oil catch can with that?
Nope, I just run the cam cover and hook it up like the steel one is hooked up.
I would never run another steel one if I had the choice.

ive never had a problem a
LITTLE SILICONE couldnt fix.. the only reason a stamped one wont seal is usually from being torqued down way too much, and then they warp and never seal again..
ABA valve covers are an upgrade (also baffle-less) over the stock one.. it outs the breather and oil fill on opposite sides tho, but it worked better for my setup.. the ABA valve covers are MUCH THICKER than the normal mk1/2 valve covers..
again tho, even with cork gaskets, if you smear a little film of silly-cone on the top and bottom sides of the gasket, it seals up. bout a 90% success rate for me..
if i had $60 right now, this would already be mine.. just for the BLING factor..
What would I have to do to make this cover fit on my AAZ engine?

You'd have to basically mount it on top of your head and mark the holes then drill the marks in the head and throw a tap in there for studs. Not too difficult with the right tools, looks VERY sharp, and has definitely been done before.
would you take $50 plus shipping on the valve cover? I can pay with paypal or whatever you prefer
thanks
