you want a mk2 VW intake manifold.. from a jetta, golf, or something like that.. passenger side entrance. gonna have to fab up something to replace the throttle body, for the boost piping to hook up to..
and if you are not going to have the exhaust shop do it (preferred method) then just build something yourself. i had to build the flange and the whole down pipe, every piece of it..
(if you are trying to modify a stock engine mount, its going to break, and total your turbo and everything else in the way as the engine is falling towards the ground) the stock engine mounts are cast aluminum, and you have to cut a notch soo big in it that there is just millimeters of aluminum holding it together.. if you try to cut and weld the stock engine mount to fit the VNT, you are going to find out that it wont work. you have to notch the turbo so that about a quarter of the compressor housing is basically hidden above the engine mount.. trust me, mk2s are my favorite cars, and i still dont have my TD sitting in one because of engine mount problems.
before you break that turbo, why dont you just trade it to me for a normal turbo off a 1.6?
