I just pulled the head off the block, and to my amazement, there is absolutely no ridge on the cylinders. close your eyes, and you can't feel where the ridge is.  You can also still see the factory cross hatching marks on the cylinder walls.

oh, and thanks 'theman53' for payment. I'll ship it tomorrow.

1.  can you tell if the vacuum pump is sound and doesn't leak?  i got one from somebody and cleaned it up and installed it with a new bottom seal and it seeps oil where the barb is   my old one didn't do that but i broke the barb off so that is the reason i was getting another.

and is that booster hose good and sound?(i broke that to)

2.  what size is the oil pump?

I checked both the 1.6 and 1.9 vaccum pumps, and they both have cracks around the barb. must be a common issue. yes, I do have the booster hose and it's in good shape.
