Cold engine oil pressure warning light
« on: July 01, 2011, 08:37:58 am »
I have an 86 syncro with a IZ m-Tdi and the oil pressure warning light is blinking. It will blink for a mile or so and then stop. So until the engine begins to warm up. I've checked oil pressure with a mechanical gauge and all is well. Any advice on what might be wrong?

replace the sending unit, check connections.  sounds like it is on its way out.  2011-1986 equals plenty of service don't you think?
