*SOLD* FS in UK. 1992 Rocco GT2 turbo diesel AAZ

Well not sure I want to do this as clean examples do not come up that often if I regret selling it, but here goes.

Red Rocco GT2 K reg (Nov 1992) The car has been fitted with a very low mileage 23k AAZ IDI turbo diesel engine and gearbox from a Seat Toledo. The running gear was fitted when the Rocco had covered 111k miles, mileage is now at 115k, making total engine and box mileage just 27k.  

The car is pretty standard and comes with oem leccy windows and central locking, 15" BBS RAs shod with 2 very good and 2 like new Pirelli P6000 195/50 15 tyres. Stainless steel exhaust system is fitted.
No sunroof.
Paintwork is original and as such has the usual chips and blemishes as any 20 year old car would. Front of the  rear spats are the most affected area due to spray from front wheels blasting them over the miles. However this does mean one can see the true state of the car without it being covered up by a respray.
Vehicles is MOTd till 30th Oct 2011, currently no tax.
It has just had an oil and filter change and the old oil was barely black! Some things needing done are the rev counter needs converting to a GTD type dash to be operational, and the discs are a little rusty with sitting for a couple of months.
It is not immaculate by any means, but it is in good overall condition.
A decent looking car offering both excellent miles per gallon as it is, and also tuning potential as the diesels can be made to go some.
Due to the value of various bits on the car I am looking for £1500 as it is.

Not sure on shipping costs.

How about lashing these babies onto the rear panel? Leave the tailgate up for some down force, then just gun it in a westerly direction. I imagine you would get some way towards Canada.

If anyone seriously wants it brought back to Canada I'd be willing to drive it here. Just pay for gas and I'd be happy

Have you left out a "g" from that response?

I presume you mean it would make "a good grape van". IE. It would be good for going to France and filling up with wine to bring back to Scotland. 

It is packing a 1.6 NA diesel at the moment. I fear I would have to consume all the wine in an attempt to reduce gross vehicle weight, and this may allow the climb north back up the curvature of the earth to make it home again. It is a long shot........but it might just work.
