Ok so i finally get my brake lines ran, tie rod end put on and i back the rabbit out of the garage, i do a quick once over and decide its either now or never and i embark off on my true maiden run, the car ran great, the turbo was a big surprise because ive never driving a rabbit with a turbo motor before, shifted great handled great it was truely worth the last year and half of work. Now the bad, i stopped at the fire station to talk to a friend and i noticed a puddle of oil under my car, so with the motor running i checked the VC the turbo lines and finally looked up under the motor and i see oil coming out from under the oil pan on the driverside side of the motor, im thinking its a bad main bearing cap, the seal held because if not my clutch would of been fried, so i made it back home and now its back in the garage on the ramps, how should i proceed, get a new rear main with seals etc. and pull my tranny and get to work? Im not sure, im so close and to have a setback like this is very depressing, atleast this gives me time to work on the interior... Suggestions welcomed...
