• Were these ever sold in NA?
  
  I did an AAZ swap into a syncro B3, and the trans is geared way too low (CBC). I can swap the internals w/ a TDI trans (CTN or EHU), but I think maybe a 6sp 4motion trans would be the 'engineer in me' thing to do.
  
  I'm going to have a hard time finding something like that arn't I?

• you couldnt get ANYTHING SWEET in north americathe united states.. maybe in canada, but not here. south america got some sweet rides tho..

• Search RyanP in the vendor section of tdiclub. Honest vendor in the UK who ships euro tdi goodies for good prices. If he doesn't have it he'll find it for you.

• Yeah, big fat zero for us. I just bought the nearest thing I could find; an '04 Passat 4Mo 5Mt variant, figuring on a TDI swap-in in a few years.

  The only MKIV chassis North American transverse engine 4 motion offered were the R32 and the Audi TT.

• there is a build thread for the tt 4 motion over at tdi iirc, very sweet ride!He did however spend a boatlaod of cash!
