Replacing that li'l fuel supply hose on the tank -

Any helpful hints to avoid a mouthful of diesel?

Would a clamp on that lil sucker do the trick?

been there, done that.  Run the tank down till it's almost empty, then jack the car up really high on one side so that all the diesel goes to one end of the tank.  Then replace your hose.  There shouldn't be any leakage.
