honestly, because I have more important things on my plate at the moment. 16 credits at school, Wife and 2 kids (one of which has a breathing thing called laryngomalacia), a house in the middle of remodeling and a yard that is also under construction. I just want something to get me through the next couple months until I am done with school for a bit and can reseal the 2 NA IP's I already have reseal kits for
It's been busy with my 6 month old sons hospital visits/surgery.
wow. </sob story>
i hear ya, hope all goes will with your son

isnt the labor going to be the same to replace the seal on the high pressure side as it it would be to swap the pumps....
if we are talking about the same seal you can do with the pump still in the car
Yes it will ultimately be the same labour.. but with much higher chance of something going wrong..
NOT TO MENTION This pump is gilesefied! Meaning!?!? It will still kick ass on an non turbo motor.
I don't want to do just the high side. If I'm going to do it I'm doing the whole thing. That, and the lack of experience resealing an IP is what is making lean toward just installing another pump. I can do that a lot easier (fingers crossed) and I've got about 2 hours tonight so hopefully it'll be back on the road tomorrow.
