selling some custom made badges soon
« on: April 27, 2011, 09:30:38 am »
Hello all I made some custom badges that say "turbo diesel"

They are not factory and will have to be put on with some automotive VHB tape or trim tape or similar adhesive. This is what they look like and this one was for my mom. Guys that rock this would probably be a little different.

I am just going to make them a metallic silver for most.

Wanting 10.00 each plus shipping. Let me know.

I'd be interested. If its any easier I'd be happy to have no paint applied to mine as I'd probably want to try to replicate the black and brushed alluminum look.

What are they made out of? I'd probably buy a couple regardless.

The metallic silver would be similar to the brushed look. I can do them unpainted, but they are made of a NON UV stable poly ureathane, which means they will yellow over time if not painted. The painting procedure I would use makes it part of the poly and won't peel or yellow. They only way for the color to come off is to dig the plastic away.

BTW, Thanks for the interest guys.

Wish I had a TD................ :'(
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.
