the 010 won't bolt to a 1.9? or wont hold the torque?
u should talk to b4s or w/e on vwvortex he knows alot about the old 3 speeds and perhaps could tell u which to look for to get higher gearing, although if u can go the 4 speed route some what easily, that would be awesome.

3.23 at 1:1 is still 3.23 My AGS with the 3.67 and .75 5th would be 2.75 final The 3.67 mated with a .89 5th would give you about the same as that 3.23 in the auto. Not too bad, but only having 3 gears is what I think would make it rough.
