1qt every 5-600miles from crankcase
« on: January 21, 2006, 12:11:41 pm »
okay I cut the crankase to intake line today and started the car. There is a light white smoke coming out of the tube, when stuck next to a paper towl you can litghly see oil appearing, my question is should I catch it with a real oil catch can and drain it back in or put a coupling between the hose I cut and burn it like I had been.

basically would a real catch can with vent on top actually catch this or just plug up the filter and then cause too much crankcase pressure and blow my dipstick up?
