It would be really nice if someone could intergrate a translator like bable fish into the site, So we wouldn't need seperate sections.
Have each user specify their prefered language, and if they want to use the translator. Each post would be stored in their language, and other users could then read it in theirs.
except those translators never really work. they sort of work, but usually they're way off...

And, both this site and TDIClub deal with lots of technical information. That is the exact information that translators barf upon the worst.
As neat as that would be, I have agree bhtooefr -- automatic translators often choke on technical stuff. I had the pleasure (??) of editing a 100 page manual on renewable energy translated from Chinese. I almost think I could have written a new one faster. It was amusing though -- it invented entirely new words that looked english but I had never heard of before.
Edit: Besides, have any of you ever tried reading a british factory service manual. Takes a while to even understand that, and it's the same language as the US.
