What do I need to look for? How to I check it to make sure it's g2g without tearing into it? I really don't want to make a mess of things, but would it be a good idea to tear it apart and check for backlash and all that or would I be biting off more than I could chew?
i just turn the input shafts, and final drive flanges and listen for any tell tale bearing scraping, or shaft looseness, or gear backlash, and run it thru the gears while turning the shafts..
