For spooling the turbo off the line and to helping to burn the lost HP out the tail pipe at 5K RPM

By the way, I did relocate the LDA ref. to the compressor outlet instead of the intake. Not to noticeable on my build.

i wasnt sure if it would be noticeable or not. just that you may see SLIGHTLY higher pressures there, so the LDA might come on a half second sooner.
i think the nitrous bottle is gonna get filled up on monday.. then i will have to fill it up again before the soot out im sure..
god, you can burn thru a tank of NOS quick..
i dont have to worry about blowing the head off my block do i? nitrous is tame on diesels isnt it? (my head is still held down with bolts)

Blow through a bottle. What are you doing? Full throttle NOS pulls for every light and shift
.
I can only quess is thats its fun, other wise you wouldn't do it, huh?
You can still do damage, only to the head gasket? What do you exspect for stock bolts, head gasket and what not. It would be cool to se if it did blow off at the dyno though

one problem i just thought about while eating breakfast.. idk WTF im gonna do if it breaks. i dont have a way to tow the car back home. or get myself home for that matter..
(i may just buy some head studs between now and then, im still running an 11mm block, if the head lifts, my block is toast)

Hey guys, don't worry about making a mess on the dyno, they just oiled down our drag strip yesterday with a talon. Still clicked off a 9.40 though.
Just kidding, hope no one toast their engine. That is a big concern for me if I make the trip, whether to drive the caddy or load it my ramp truck.
I think nitrous on the dyno would work better than a air to air intercooler since there's no airflow through the intercooler to remove heat.

i was thinking about taking my intercooler out, and running just nitrous as my intercooler..
wheres the best place to shoot it? right before the turbo, or right before the intake plenum?
i run a gasser intake mani, i was thinking about putting the nozzle in the adapter i made for the plenum. (the adapter that the boost hoses hook up to)
i just wanna make sure im not gonna kill my engine cause i shot the nos at the wrong spot in the intake..

I have my nitrous nozzle in the intake so it doesn't absorb heat from the turbo and piping.
I don't think you will kill your engine from injecting it in a different place though.
The only thing I see killing a headgasket is alot of fuel and alot of nitrous with high boost = high cylinder pressure.
I've had good luck so far with my worn out turboed 1.6na and am up to a 50 shot with no leaks yet.
Nitrous contains something like 30 percent more oxygen than air, so maybe back down the boost some to be on the safe side.
I only run about 12-15 psi boost on nitrous with a stock gasket and headbolts.

Looks good Josh, If your nozzle location doesn't flow evenly mine sure as hell won't.
Those nozzles have a fan type exit that should disperse the nitrous pretty well if you line up the dimple
on the nozzle with the direction you want the nitrous to spray.
Here's the intake I got from you awhile back and where I put my nozzle (not many options in my setup).

Wait, yours is right on top of the manifold. Wheres your tip pointing? If its pointing to the manifold, won't it spry inaccurate?
Where did you mount the solenoid?
I'm thinking here for mine.
.
I just ordered a NOS manifold to be able to feed two solenoids.

I just figured out a cheaper way to "T" the feed lines to solenoids, for $3.60, instead of the $40+ for the stupid manifold
. Oh well. Still need extra lines and 4an fittings, so still not done.
