The tip is pointed at the valve cover side of the intake, in the stream of air coming from the turbo.
So yes its spraying on the front inside wall of the intake, same as the air coming in.
Solenoid is mounted to the bottom just left of the brake booster where the raintray seal is.
Man I just thought about this after seeing your solenoids and was wondering if the bottle to solenoids/manifold line
will be large enough to flow both stages (mine is-4an same as other line).

Yeah, the NOS manifold is P shaped. The other way is to use a 1/8"X1/8"X1/8" NTP T used with 90* swivile 4AN fittings would probably be ok.
Plus its all local and not through the web +shipping.

I'm going to mount the tank in the same place as you did for quick placement.

Also turning down the boost to maybe 10psi and going up from there.

The pipe fittings should work fine. Can't wait to see how the second stage works.
I went out and took a pic of my solenoid mounting, looks like more above the brake booster than to the left of it.

Looks like a clean install.

Second stage will engage with a Hobbs swt. Lots of tunning to get it right.

Oh yea, and don't run any of the braided lines near the battery. I have to replace a line on my refill station in the shop
because it rubbed on the side of a spare battery over  the winter. Ate the stainless braided covering right off the line.
Are you going to get a big bottle and refill your own or take it in. I can get a 56lb bottle for about $160.00 here or $5.00 a lb to refill in town.

Good to know about the battery and lines.

My 10lb bottle is full now but will need to be refilled maybe twice soon enough. I don't plan to refill my own, and hopefully someone can fill it for less than $5 an lb. I dout it but maybe a welder shop can.

im just gonna shoot it in my plenum adapter, and aim the nozzle at the opposite wall of the intake..

its about 3" closer to the intake than where your nozzle is going josh..

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Today was the dyno day. I have to say, wow. Lots of truck. There was two TDI Jettas, one MK2 TD Jetta, one Volvo 760 TD and me.

I pulled 191HP and 259TQ at 3500 RPM. I'll post up a dyno graph later.

So the dyno run last week at the Oregon Coar Rollers Diesel dyno day were way off compaired to what I got today at the same dyno I made my first #'s with. The dyno at the diesel GTG was a DynoJet dyno and I think that the opperator had it set up for inertia current not eddy current. The dyno I went to today was a Mustang dyno and was set to run eddy current. What a difference in #'s compaird to enertia current.

I made four pulls. First was with the stock wastegate pressure, 11.5 PSI. Second was with the boost controller set @ low boost  then high boost. Fourth pull was with high boost and nitrous.

I'm still waiting for my dyno graphs to be emailed to me but the highest HP and TQ  is,

I know.Thats how I felt when my brother read me the numbers. I reviewed some of the video last night and the first nitrous run made 191HP! (Sorry, that was an uncorrected number)

The video's size is so big (675MB, and 1GB) that it takes for ever to upload, but I've got to post some.

After the first session of pulls, we decided to cgange intercoolers due to the size that was in there was restricking air flow and just heat soaked. So my buddy pulled a bigger intercooler off the shelf, welded some end tanks on it and we installed it. Run all the dyno pulls over again to see the differance. All of the pwr and torque curves start sooner and climb faster.
